Everybody from The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones and Billy Joel to John Mayer, Matchbox 20, Ryan Adams, Maroon 5, Black Eyed Peas and Norah Jones. All types of music from pop, indie, rock and rap to blues, country and jazz. There are no limits!
Tucker Jameson & The Hot Mugs spent the summer of ’09 touring the east coast and up to Canada. During their “Are We There Yet?” tour, they opened for artists Ryan Cabrera, Apache Stone (frontman Mike Lombardi of “Rescue Me”) and the newly formed Under the Elephant, whose band members include Ben Jelen and Josh McMillan. From Aug 1-11th, TJ &THM were direct support for Andrew Strong of“The Commitments” fame. Their EP was aired at over 150 college radio stations and garnered numerous accolades in the CD reviews. Also noteworthy--they had some of the songs aired on “Hawthorne” and “The Beast” within this last year. From street festivals to major theaters and clubs, TJ & The Hot Mugs are an experienced and professional working band whose original music appeals to people of all ages.
Listed are the venues they performed at on the “Are We There Yet?” Tour:
Now back at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Tucker Jameson & The Hot Mugs are already missing the excitement they derived from their rigorous touring this summer which took them from Maryland to Montreal. While each member of the band was already an excellent musician, the learning experience from this tour contributed to the enrichment and creative stylings for each individual. Together, the band presents
an unforgettable musical experience—unique, tight and professional in every way!
Tucker Jameson, originally from NYC, is the front man and primary singer/songwriter who has developed a singing style all his own and belts out the tunes seemingly without effort. Blake Powell, the lead guitarist from Texas, makes playing the guitar look unbelievably easy. His solos are simply amazing and he holds the audience captive each and every time he solos. Will Cafaro, the bass man from just outside Detroit, uses his bass to channel each note through his entire body. He rocks, he rolls and he plays a mean bass. With a jazz and rock background, Will adds his own mark to the tunes. Dan Drohan, the drummer from Rochester, has developed his rock stylings based upon a strong jazz background. His timing and beats are incomparable as he drives the band through each song. His love of the music is evident upon his smiling face as he plays each and every song!
For those interested in hearing original rock the way it should be played, hearing Tucker Jameson & The Hot Mugs perform live is a MUST!
You will walk away with a new-found appreciation for everything about the band and with a desire to see them play again and again.
