I love not only being a DJ, but the MC and director of my clients special events. I can't put into words how it makes me feel to be able to make a living doing what I LOVE! Oh! And the gadgets that come with the job are reeeeeaaaly fun too :)

Music
I love all types of music. Their are not a lot of songs I don't like. My favorite artists are Boston, Def Leppard, Michael Buble, Montgomery Gentry and George Strait.
Movies
I love watching movies in general.War movies are the best. Band of Brothers is my all time favorite. I love a good drama too.
Television
I don't watch a lot of TV. I Tivo a select few to watch at my leisure. Heros, Friday Night Lights, Burn Notice, Boston Legal and Greys Anatomy (My wife got me hooked on the last one). Now I'm a big fan of Paranormal State and Ghost Hunters. Don't ask me why.
Books
I read any self help DJ books. I'm always learning what's hot. Other than that the Bible is the only other book I read.
Heroes
Heroes take on many rolls. My definition of a hero is someone that aims to better of save human life without thinking of him or herself. I see a lot of this in the Military. They are all heroes in my book. God Bless the men and women in the military!!!!

About me: What is the difference between a disc Jockey and a Director of Entertainment? LOTS!!! I call myself a director of Entertainment or Wedding Entertainer as opposed to Disc Jockey not just to seperate myself from everyone else. I use this term because what I do is what a DJ does times 10. Disc Jockies play music and make little announcements. DJ's quote you a price knowing exactly what service they will provide. I not only play YOUR music but help you plan, act as MC, personalize and offer services that bring my hours well beyond 40 hours per wedding. So next time you hear "well I'm only $500 for 4 hours" for ONLY a DJ. Then talk to a Director of Entertainment and break down the hours I put in and divide it by my price. You just might get the picture ;)
Who I'd like to meet:
I'm a big Red Wings hockey fan, so I would have to say the entire team. However, it's not anything I obsess over. The client I would like to meet I'd say is the one that understands that having a director of entertainment is a must in order to have the wedding of your dreams.
