| About Tudo de Bom |

Since 2005 Tudo de Bom has been performing eclectic, melodic music composed by vibist Kathy Kelly, saxophonist Juli Wood and trumpeter Jeff Beer. Influenced by jazz, world and pop music these pieces are miniature stories told in sound.
Bassist Dan DeLorenzo and drummer Mike Schlick set the group in motion with grooves that vary from swing to African, Brazilian, and funk.
The name Tudo de Bom, which translated means “it’s all good”, is a tribute to Brazilian musician and composer Hermeto Pascoal. The group first came together to play the music of Pascoal and then branched out to perform their own compositions.
Tudo de Bom has presented original compositions several times at the Chicago Jazz Composers Collective concerts at the Green Mill. They have also performed their eclectic mix of tunes for the Emerging Improvisers series at the Hungry Brain and at Acme Performance space. Currently they are appearing every Sunday at Ethiopian Diamond Restaurant in Chicago.
