Tuenda was created for a series of concerts called Folk de Cámara (Chamber Folk Music). The three musicians created a concert programme drawing from the archive of live recordings of Xosé Ambás. The result was at the same time simple and elegant and it was truly well received by the audience. The band stuck together and has proved to be one of the most popular bands in recent years in Asturias.
Tuenda has been extensively featured in the Asturian TV programme Camín de Cantares, where Ambás interviews some of the sources of his archive, sings with them and then the whole band, together with other Asturian musicians, reelaborate oe of the songs.

Ufiertamos una primicia del nueu discu de Dixebra "Amor incendiariu". El tema que vais poder escuchar a partir de güei nel nuesu myspace oficial entitúlase "De Prau", un ska de temática folixera onde tienen collaborao Marga Lorences a la curdión y Toño Gómez al trombón. D'otra miente, esti adelantu tamién va tar incorporáu na edición d'esta selmana del periódicu Les Noticies.
El prósimu domingu 1 de payares pela nueche Dixebra va facer el conciertu presentación del so décimu discu "Amor incendiariu". Nel eventu el grupu va interpretar dellos de los temes del so repertoriu habitual y muchos de los cantares inxertáos nel nueu trabayu discográficu. Por mor de la lo especial d'esti conciertu, el grupu va cuentar cola collaboración de dellos músicos convidaos como Lisardo Prieto al vigulín (Felpeyu), Toño Gómez al trombón (La Bandina) y DJ Pin colos platos (Campeón estatal de Scratch).
Esa mesma nueche quién tea interesáu podrá mercar en primicia una copia de "Amor incendiariu" así como les nueves camisetes del grupu. D'otra miente, la data va ser tamién una perbona oportunidá pa escuchar al gran tocador de cora Toumani Diabaté.
I Want to share something with you : When i went to the studio, the plan was to work on creating some new music... but while in the studio this thought came over me regarding Michael Jackson and all that he had endure... my heart was really heavy with sadness for him: I could'nt even imagine all that he endured and he came out of each situation with his head up... what an amazing man I thought to myself. We alread had this track of music that i created, but really did'nt know exactly what to do with it...suddenly that thought about michael was so strong on my heart that day that i could'nt hardly think of anything else.. So just out the blue I told Darren to start the track and press the record botton.. and i will try to sing words as i feel them come to me.. he qued the music and i started singing .. you can feel the pull of the music on my heart and tears started swellin up in my eyes... i almost could'nt keep singing but i fought it off... and kept going " Dear Michael , we need to let you know that we love you so , and we'll never let you go.. the pain of you not singing hurt us so..." my eyes burning from the tears i'am trying to fight back.. i kept going until the end of the end of the song ... i can remember seeing Darren si

Where traditions are not so rare; Sea, country and works scent the air; A multitude of monuments, Planted tubs and patterned pavements.
The longish pedestrian malls; The remnants of defensive walls; Historic buildings are a gauge Of the respect for heritage.
Wheat, rape and pines in the fields; Estuaries guarded by shields; Long sandy beaches and wide scenes; Romantic-ruin go-betweens.
Rivers in parts licked by trees, Or fringed by boat clubs, wharfs, gantries, And crossed by practical delights - Varied spans, forming pleasing sights.
Fine churches headed at Durham; Football kits ad infinitum; Kept castles - one for study; Masonry behind masonry.

Saludos. Los conciertos ofrecidos por el vocalista Portu (Deeps, Sin Enchufe) y por el genial guitarrista Javi Ramos (Zem) llegan a su fin de forma temporal, ya que se inicia la programación de Sin Enchufe. Pero será sólo por un tiempo, hasta navidades aproximadamente. Para cerrar con buen pié ésta primera etapa, se despiden con tres conciertos en tres sitios distintos de la geografía asturiana. Empiezan el jueves 1 de octubre en la localidad occidental de Tineo, en LA VINOTECA (c/ Martín Alonso 7) a partir de las 23:00h. y con entrada libre. Buen embutido, buena cena, y concierto. Aprovechad para la gente de allí!!!! Al día siguiente 2 de octubre, en la capital, Oviedo, siguiente tributo. Será en el CAFÉ ALEA (c/ Campoamor 6) a partir de las 23:00h. y también con entrada libre. Y el último, ultimísimo, será el sábado 3 de octubre, donde empezó, en Avilés, en el siempre acogedor y mítico PUB AVE FÉNIX (c/ Galiana 12), también y para no variar a partir de las 23:00h. y con entrada libre. Aviso: todo aquel/lla que tenga curiosidad por ver cómo lo hacemos, o ahora y nunca..., así que ya sabéis.
Que pasa collacius, aqui os dejo una pequeña "nota de prensa" si teneis un rato escuchad el tema a ver que os parece.
"Buenas a todos, aqui los cahornegos presentando algo del trabajo al que nos hemos dedicado este año. Despues de tomarnos un año sin conciertos en directo, estamos grabando la banda sonora para un documental en el pequeño estudio que Jose "Connan" puso en Entrambasaguas y trabajando en los temas del año que viene, para grabar disco en unos meses. Este trabajo que podeis escuchar "Balinesa" se parece poco a nuestros trabajos anteriores, esta enfocado a un documental y nos hemos quitado la espina de todos esos temas lentos instrumentales que nunca tocas en directo por no aburrir("por no enfriar" me corrige Gus) al prau. Esperamos que os guste. Gracias al Higuera chicu por su aportacion en el comienzo del tema y a todos los organizadores de conciertos que nos han seguido llamando a pesar de conocer nuestra decision."
