"Back in the day" we were one of the first in the New Jersey area to ever play Pearl Jam among others. With the radio market in the state that it is in we want to offer an outlet for musicians to promote their work during our shows! Oh yeah, did we mention

About me: The Tuesday Afternoon Show
At www.tuesdayafternoonshow.com, follow the strange antics of Uncle John, Scotto, Pat, Miss Armida, Mel, Bob Chase, Scoutmaster Steve, Johnnie Johnson, British Actor Who'snameIhavenotyetmadeup, Thog, Vinnie Baddabing, Prof. Stephen Hawking, George Takei, The ghost of William Shatner, Harvey Shysterberg, Wilbur Smith, and of course the disgusting, yet loveable, Casey the Crab. You really never know what you will get with each episode, Absurdist sketches, satire, weird news, web sites so bad that you'll wish you never knew about them, new music, and even talk radio. And best of all it is free, they are in this because they love it, not for the money. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
UNCLE JOHN: Already a skilled musician, audio engineer, writer, Photoshop artist and web designer John H. Maloney now adds internet broadcast co-host to his impressive list of accomplishments. In addition to being the saner half of the Tuesday Afternoon Show team, he also records, mixes and edits each episode, composes and records the theme music and acts as webmaster designing, hosting and maintaining the show's website. John is also the founder of the Independent Artist's Resource Center(artistresources.org). You can find out more about John by visiting johnhmaloney.com.

SCOTTO: Scott must have committed some heinous abominations in a past life. He has lived in New Jersey for most of his current life with the exception of a brief stint on the Gulf Coast in Mississippi (seriously, this is not a Katrina joke, he once lived there in the late 1980’s.) He also has the problem of people not knowing when he is joking and when he is not. This has made his career in education difficult as well (again, not a joke, he’s really an English teacher.) He has been an actor, a teacher, a salesman, a marketer, a public relations guru, a cook, a poet, Secretary General of the United Nations (ok, that was a joke, you may laugh now,) and of course a college radio personality. He liked the latter so much, he has decided to become an internet radio personality. “FCC? We don’ need no stinkin’ FCC!”
Who I'd like to meet: These guys, it's a shame this is their final tour, but all good things...
Seriously, if you have never seen Ministry live, you have never seen a concert. If we haven't talked about them on the show we should have! Click on the above banner to find out when they will be in your area so you won't miss out!
And if you've never heard of Ministry, click on one of their "old school" videos below. You're welcome!
Jersey City-based country/folk artist Amy Speace is presently being featured in PBS' leading series of "short-form" programming, FastFocusTV. The segment features an interview with the WIldflower Records singer on the former actress' emerging music career. The interview is interspersed with live clips from Amy's performance at Mo Pitkins in NYC this past December.
Hey! I'll be in your neck of the woods at the end of June! It's no "Midnight Madness", but lets go get a slice of pizza or something while I'm out there!
I will help you out with the picture. It is a sculpture by Ron Mueck. He used to make puppets with Jim Hennson and Frank Oz for Sesame Street, later he got into art. He sculptures are amazing, all based on humans. He doesn’t use models and loves to play with scale. The detail is amazing. He has an exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, which I happen to live a few blacks from. Of course, his work is nothing compared to the crayon wax pac-man sculptures you and Geren use to make.
Well, as for new material for the show, perhaps "God's Toybox", one the player on the SA-S profile page... this is the new incarnation, led by Dennis Beck.
More to come shortly, as well...
