This critically acclaimed Virginia based troupe consists of a 5 piece band, lyricists, poets, and singers who dazzle your audience through singing, poetry and live music!
TUESDAY VERSES: Open Mic Experience is Richmond's longest running poetry event. It takes place every Tuesday at Tropical Soul, 314 N. 2nd Street, Richmond, VA 23220. Performers such as John Goode, Talaam Acey, Lamar Hill, Queen Sheba, Archie the Messenger, Jon Bibbs, Narrator and many others have visited to share works. Calling all poets, singers, lyricists, dancers and anyone who loves great food, good music and lovely people to join us every tuesday; and bring your crew! Damage is $7 all night, and doors open at 8pm! Our show travels and we are available for hire. We are a perfect addition to your showcase, college event, organizational mixer or club night. When the Verses crew reaches your stage it is always Tuesday!
