We formed 2 years ago, originally as a three piece, Bernie, Aki and Gary and played a few gigs as that. We then decided to go and look for a Bass player, so we took on Barry. It stayed that way for a while until one night jammin' Aki picked up the guitar to play rhythm. We all agreed that the extra guitar filled the over all sound of the band, and everyone agreed that it would be a good idea for Aki to play rhythm guitar in the band........except Aki.
So one fine evening in the beer garden of the Glen Roy, I was sitting with Pete and there and then I phoned everyone in the band an asked them if I should ask Pete to come and jam with us, they all said yes and so did Pete, who to tell you the truth didn't quite believe it. We had a gig in G2 coming up and we spent the next few weeks teaching Pete the songs, and by the time the gig came, everything went with flying colours.
