About me: College Tuition has almost doubled in the past 6 years in UC and CSU, with no end in sight. Students cannot afford to be the ATM of the University and the state anymore. Thousands of students across the state-on every UC, CSU and community college campus-are exploring a ballot question for the November 2008 statewide ballot. The measure would limit tuition, or “fees” at California’s public universities. We’re excited to set the precedent for a new kind of ballot initiative—we’re largely volunteer driven, we’re using new web-based organizing methods, and we’re the first student-led ballot initiative in California’s history. what exactly are you doing? I am working with Students for Quality Education and we organize the campus about fee hikes and Budget cuts we have 2 interns in almost all of the CSU's in Cali.
