The Tump Folk Club has been running for over 6 years now. We meet every Thursday night at Coombe Social Club, Brinklow Road, Coventry, CV3 2HY at 8.15pm. Until 2008 we were based in the village of Brinklow, first at The White Lion Pub (as The White Lion Folk Club) and we moved to Royal British Legion in July 2003.

One of our most popular features is our Singarounds. This is where experienced performers and novices alike sing a couple of songs (or play a couple of tunes or read a poem) at a time and then we move on to the next performer. We don’t use the stage area or PA and we sit in a large circle and just go around the circle so that everyone gets a turn. Depending on how many turn up determines how many times we go round.
Twice a month we have guest nights featuring either a local, national or international folk artists, such as Dave Gibb, Chris Tobin, Robin Laing, Steve Tilston, Debra Cowan (USA) and Gilly Darbey.

At our new venue we even have a small stage area! We would love to see anyone who would like to come along to The Tump Folk Club on a Thursday night - either to sing, play or listen. They will be most welcome!
