Many people moan about having such a shit life but these people raise the bar for themselves a bit too much. I don't want to own a house, or a huge TV. I don't need all the latest gadgets and the best clothes labels to feel good about myself. To be perfectly honest I would rather not have the debt and burden such social memes and trends bring. If you have good friends you don't need these things.

To be happy in life is a simple thing which many people overcomplicate. Eat natural food, enjoy the weather for what it is, occasionally accept that, yes, you might be wrong sometimes, and learn to laugh. It isn't hard.

I fucked up school and went to college; possibly hoping for opportunities to fall out of the sky, I don't know. As it turns out, it was both a waste of time and also something I'm glad I've done. I met a bunch of great people and eventually learned to grow up and not be a jackass all the time. At the same time, I learned I was right to hate the idea of office work and that studying Admin & IT was a waste of time because without the courses I could have figured out everything myself in less time! But I won some awards and actually got 'A' passes in my exams so even if I hate it, I done it and came out top.

I have a great girlfriend; we have two crazy bastard cats and a cosy wee flat together. I have fantastic mates and I would not be the same person if it wasn't for Graham, Du, Smiffy, Dave and Lynn.
