A few years after Nick Boehmer "one of the best djembe drummers ever heard" graduated high school he met the very talented Nick Mancina and Tunicks formed early in the year of 2005 with Nick and Nick by just jamming out together. Going around to local bars and coffee houses touring the open mic circuit early in the year was followed by numerous bookings at places such as Sliders Pub in Schnecksville, Hucklebucks in Pottsville, Jelly Beans in Allentown as well as many other places in the eastern portion on Pennsylvania. Consisting of an amazing percussionist who plays anything from mulitiple djembe's at once to a spring drum or beer bottle and a guitarist/vocalist who plays at 12-string acoustic and Six string electric with the flare of a harmonica on certain tunes. Playin original music and cover tunes from the 60s to Present, including The Beatle, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Dave Mattews Band, Johnny Cash, O.A.R., Phish, and many others. Creating music on there own and others music to inspire them makes them a great jam band and a great band that you can just get up and groove too!!!
