Television
Public/cable/satellite is the lowest common denominator of entertainment. In exchange of your time and intelligence it gives you product placement and an excuse to be complacent with a plastic reality on a daily basis. My life has steadily improved with every attempt of avoiding television. Rare exceptions to this exist, I buy the dvds if they deserve it. Guilty pleasure "american idol" it appeals to my cynic nature.
Books
My new found love. I have learned and gained more from 3 years of reading great novels than i have from any other medium my entire life. Thank you fiction writers. Your a dieing breed and as long as you do what you do i will use it to expand my horizons. Amy Hempel and Chuck Palaniuk changed the way i see our very own social existence. They did not tell me how to think or act but simply tell me how many different ways you can view the world and interept everything your own way without limitations or rules.
Heroes
The idea of a hero is slightly overrated. There are plenty of people i look up to and find inspiration from, and the idea of them being heroes implying that they are special or different is seemingly insulting to my desires of following with my own foot steps. they wouldn't call themselves heroes. So nor shall I. Be inspired to inspire.

Hey hun, i really wanna come out and i do agree with the whole its a good time when we do. . .minus a couple misshaps but i cant tomorrow because of work and then saturday morning is adams XC meet for conference and i took the day off work so i could go see him run. . .AND THEN (lol) i have work at 10 on sunday so i think this weekend in unfortunately a no go =( which really sucks because me and Kev broke up and i could really use some going out time. . . hopefully i can chill with yall soon tho
