Humrush is a group founded by brothers Torkjel (keyboards) and Halvard (guitar) from Kristiansand on the southern tip of Norway. Humrush's music is best described groovy and easy to dance to.
The band's most active time was from 1998 to 2001, with the last song being made early 2002. Highlights include performances at the Quart festival '99 and by:Larm 2002 as well as the release of 'Turbotape' on Groovecentral recordings which was rotated frequently on Petre Norwegian radio.
Since then, Torkjel has studied in Australia for years where he worked together with Chris Tanberg. Some of their songs will be available on myspace soon. Torkjel now lives in Tokyo exploring new musical expressions with a Bermudan twist.
Halvard has been involved with Darkside Of The Force both live and on the album 'El Dia De Los Puercos' released may 2006. Check out d.o.t..f www.combatrock.no
