In early Hindu philosophy, Turiya is a state of pure consciousness, the experience of ultimate reality and truth. It is the fourth state of said consciousness that underlies and at the same time transcends the three common states of consciousness.

Turiya is a melodic metal band out of Willits, California.
Lineup:
Lisa Smith: Vocals
Ryan Montigny: Guitar
Mike Williams: Guitar
Dan Brown: Bass
Zack Zurfley: Drums
Ryan and Zack are former members of the thrash/metal band Soultorn. Later, Ryan worked in the death metal band Amidst the Blood and Black.
Mike is a seasoned guitarist previously known for his work in the band Mummification, and Dan is well reputed, having played in many bay area and Seattle based bands in the past.
At this time, we are seeking dedicated musicians for keyboard and male vocals (for clean singing and possibly screaming). We require that you have your own transportation and equipment, as we will not provide these for you. Please contact us through this page if you are interested.
