About Turiya Sounds

Turiya Sounds is dedicated to bringing you music for your quest for self-exploration and spirituality.

The label encompasses ambient, downtempo, progressive and psy-trance sounds and the projects range from a product for Yoga to music CDs to music and dance parties. Work on a product for Vinyasa Yoga self-practice, called Svayam Yoga, is in progress.

The label currently represents Groove Yantra (psy-dub, downtempo) and Sanyama (trance), both projects of Ra (or Rahul) .
At a very young age Ra received training in classical Indian tabla and vocals. Later he picked up the guitar and played in classic and progressive rock bands. He also learnt jazz guitar. He started making electronic music 5 odd years ago.

We are also actively involved in organizing parties in San Francisco and have a downtempo monthly party called Submerge (http://turiyasounds.com/submerge) for art and down/midtempo music lovers.

For this second compilation label owner DJ Natron extended his network of promising producers from South Africa, Switzerland, UK, Germany and South America and again presents some sparking pearls for original Psychedelic lovers.
