For a while I have had an interest in Traditional Folk / Acid Folk / Weird Folk. It all started over 20 years ago with Black Sabbath and the acoustic filler tracks! It got more intense a few years ago when Gerard Langley from The Blue Aeroplanes introduced me to Fairport Convention.
So now I will be working hard to bring all the best folk acts and bands to Bristol. Behold....folk is not the only genre I will be promoting, I will be booking all my favorite jazz, experimental, progressive and outsider artistes.
I have decided to start the HERMITAGE label on which I will be releasing Folk, Jazz and Experimental recordings.......the studio is being built......all releases will recorded live to 2-track quater inch tape.
It's The Garden's wonderful Midwinter Wassail, Friday 18th ..the Blue Room @ PJ McGintys, Ipswich.

La Folie are back in town again and we playing at the O2 Academy on Friday 11th of Septmeber! It's £4 a ticket and you get in to Transmission afterwards for free!
