TURN was founded on the 12th of June 2006 in Timisoara, Romania by the adhesion of 7 (seven) founding members to the principles and values that govern its platform. In spite of being a young organization, the Turn Cultural Association can pride itself with a rich experience having organized an International Romani Art Festival an events that sets it amongst the most important and active NGO’s in Romania and not only.
The aim of the ..Turn.. Cultural Association is:
a) to promote cultural and social values;
b) to promote freedom of speech;
c) to promote respect towards human dignity and universal human rights, to eradicate all forms of cultural, ethnical, linguistic, religious, racial or sexual discrimination;
d) to involve the youth in projects that endorse professional, cultural and civic-minted activities.
The objectives of the ..Turn.. Cultural Association are:
a) to stimulate and cultivate interculturality;
b) to promote respect and protection for human identity, cultural diversity and universal human rights.
c) to prevent and settle intercommunitary animosities and conflicts by means of social dialogue, civic and multicultural education.
d) to promote and support social services.
The target group is represented by children, youngsters, adults and elders regardless of their ethnic origin, religion, sexual orientation.

DIRTY SHIRT revine in forta cu un album, botezat sugestiv: “Same SHIrT Different Day”. Nu fiti nerabdatori, albumu' iese la toamna.
Intre timp, bagati un ochi aici, pentru un prim video cu sesiunea de tobe (Toca, tobashul criminal :) ), undeva in sudul Frantei:

Pentru cei care inca n-o fo' pe faza, iute pe myspace si youtube la un "U.B." ("Cine iubeste si lasa" intr-o adaptare dezlantuita) in varianta demo (o sa fie si pe album, don't panic).
Inopia va lansa primul material discografic intitulat "Monuments of sadness" maine, 21 martie, in Live Metal Club in cadrul unui concert alaturi de Magica, Tiarra, True Mind si Fortress of Faith. Evenimentul se va desfasura sub denumirea "Super Metal Live" care se afla la editia a 5-a. Concertul va incepe de la ora 19.00, iar biletele costa 15 lei si se pot achizitiona la intrare.
Dear friends, This year also, between 23 and 26 of July at Timisoara, IRAF is happening again. International Romani Art Festival has arrived to it s 3 rd edition, and it will delight you with music concerts, theater plays, traditional cookery, paintings and sculptures exhibitions and movie projections, all meant to rediscover and promote Romani culture. For this particular last section we search for your help. If you have seen a movie inspired of Romani lives and you would like it to be visioned in our festival, you can make us a suggestion, by writing us about it at sokereseuropa@mail.com . We would also appreciate if you can send us the movie on a cd/dvd at the following address : Timisoara, str. Ulpia Traiana, nr.83, Romania . If you want to support the fight against human discrimination and the promotion of the intercultural dialogue, send us a picture to the same email address, with the indication “for face to face”, and it will be projected during the festival. Besides, you can propose us new sections to be introduced in the festival, like different ways of expressing Romani art and culture. We wait for your ideas! Am crescut cu gumă Turbo, schiuri second-hand din piața de mașini, karate și teniși chinezești. Am ascultat “șlagăre” românești, ungurești, rusești, țigănești și sârbești la casetofon cu beculețe, ne-am îndrăgostit de Loredana Groza, am văzut MTV “pe satelit” și am ascultat Tezaur folcloric cu părinții. După ce ne-am băut prima pălincă am pus mâna pe-o chitară sau o tobă, un fluier sau un acordeon, o trompetă sau o orgă, ne-am tatuat cu coardă de chitară și ne-am tras o trupă. Am trecut prin tot felul de metale, jazz-uri, punk-uri, electro, alternative, old-time rock and roll, hardocre, rap sau reggae și nu ne-au ajuns, pentru că nu-s ale noastre. Vrem toate astea la un loc și le vrem balcanice! Vrem rhasta-geto-daci-electro-balkan-punk-reggeae metal hip-hop.
