Turquinho Filho was born in Brazil on May 13 of 1974 ,and it’s contact with the music started so early inside home. Son of a famous and devoted drummer called (Turquinho).
His professional life began in a traditional neighborhood of São Paulo called (BEXIGA) ,a place who give to him the opportunity to enjoy high quality of Brazilian Music , and have friendship with master musicians such as :Filó Machado , Cizão Machado , Arismar do Espirito Santo , Léia Freire , Valmir Gil and among others.
After some time he had the opportunity to meet some Jazz Musicians from São Paulo in a Great Club called (Sanja Jazz Club) that was the redoubt of Jazz Musicians in São Paulo and also Jazz Fusion Bands and Big Bands .
After a short time already played in the Zérró Santos Big Band , wich was composed by 23 great musicians and played classics of American Jazz and also own compositions Turquinho Filho at 1995 was invited to play with a very famous guitarist called (Tomati) who plays Fusion , Jazz and songs like Weather Report , Mike Stern , George Duke Band , and among others.
Then began to receive invitations to play with the most famous Brazilian Artists such as : Ed Motta , Jair Rodriguês , Deborah Blando , Sandra de sá , Paula Lima , and others.
In 1996 over 300 drummers entered , he won the International Drummers Competition called (BATUKA) created by the great drummer Vera Figueiredo .
After it received a invitation to play with the North American guitarist from New Orleans called (KENNY BROWN) to travel around the world and also play in a very famous club in São Paulo called (Bourbon Street)
In 2001 was the main drummer of a big Record Company called (TRAMA RECORDS ) in its casting the majority of artists in evidence of the season in Brazil, and recorded Cd's and DVD's ,did concerts with more than 10 artists to the fore of the season , Including the city of New York made a big show at (Lincon Center) .
Turquinho Filho already participated in the majority of programs for wider audience on National T V Monitoring artists of renown nationally and internationally, and in works of instrumental music.
The year 2004 recorded a disc of important guitarist (Tomati) with the participation of many musicians from around the world such as: Scott Henderson, Mike Stern, Tony Hall, Naná Vasconcelos, Kirk Covington, Thiago of Espirito Santo, among others.
Now is the time shares spices in a traditional bar called from New York (Zinc Bar) with the Pianist (Cidinho Teixeira) and the North American guitarist (Ron Afif).

Apresentações solos em diversos espaços da casa DJ Menotti tocando jazzes, grooves e brasilidades. Ótimo cardápio de petiscos + Chopp Erdinger e Warsteiner a preços camaradas.

Olá Amigo tudo na paz? quando vc vem fazer um som aqui pra gente do vale do paraiba em? Cara estou com três novas músicas em meu perfil( as três primeiras , sem motivo aparente/sentinela/fire drink) ambas tem o mesmo paradoxo pois tem momentos bem jazz, latin, baião!e outros bem pesadinhos!rs se vc puder dar uma sacada lá, a tua opinião é muito importante para mim!Grande Abraço
