Where it all began.... with our song written for dance show called "Follow my Lead"
~~TURQUOISE~~
Turquoise began as a two-piece ensemble featuring Michael and Tricia McCollum. Throughout the years it has taken on many different faces and feels and with the New Year approaching... It takes on it's newest form. We are a five piece family band consisting of four immediate family members and one very close to the family friend. We cover top 4o hits from the 70's thru the 90's and are mainly on high-energy mode for the most part! We try to mix it up and keep you guessing what we'll do next. We run the gammet from Classic Rock to Soul, and Blues, Pop, and Disco, and Our own Original music as well. It is our dream to progress beyond the Cabaret stages, to someday being recognized for our Original songs and stage performances that are unusual to say the least. We are often complimented for the energy we maintain throughout the night as well as the apparant fun we are having together. We receive many compliments on our Original Tunes, especially Bright Star and Freedom on a Firm Foundation. We hope to affect the World thru our positive messages in our lyrics and by our individual expressions via music.
Please take a moment and check out our whole library of Original tunes as profiled at Aime St Publishing...http://amiestreet.com/music/turquoise-2/...You can download them if desired from this site, As many of our FANS ask us where they can get a CD>>>this is the place!!! You can PICK and CHOOSE the songs you like...thank you for supporting our ORIGINAL WORK and our FAMILY!

i know... but i am still jealous!! i miss being a rockstar! so the baby has been fluttering about alot lately.. i have been feeling it move around! its pretty cool.. its funny how they it feels like butterflies cuz it really does! like little tickles inside my belly... well and occasionally it feels a little more like one single muscle spasm or a tug... something like that! its cool though... you cant really feel it much on the outside.. brett thinks he might have felt once but he wasnt sure...usually when i feel it, its really subtle... but yeah i guess most people feel it around 16 weeks so i am a week early... i am lucky i guess!

Thanks for dropping by.Yes, we live in the same neck of the woods. I co-founded the Rogue Valley Blues Festival (in Ashland) in 2000, and I've performed at the event a couple of times, but I'm no longer in the production aspect of the event ... I remain as an advisor to the event. I very rarely perform in S. Oregon ... I tour all over the North America and the world performing in concert and at blues festivals, including touring in Europe for a month each year. You can see what I'm up to at my website. (www. I'd love to hear your original blues songs ... are they posted online? Please let me know.
