Now that I have more time to actually do things I am starting to get more into outdoor activities. My current activities of interest are running and cycling. I am afraid it is overtaking golf very quickly though. Martial Arts are also beginning to take precedince in my must do activities. I start Aikido in June. Every now and then I still have to get out and play racketball and run when I get a chance. Of course in the winter, it's all about the skiing, and now snowboarding.
Music
I have a very eclectic taste in music. I can listen to three of four different types consecutively.
Television
I mostly find myself watching the History and Discovery channels. Mindless entertainment is ok, but I would rather watch a program where I will actually learn something worth spending the time watching.
Books
Just finished "Stone Cold" by David Baldacci, "The Book of Fate" by Brad Meltzer and "The Bourne Legacy" by eric Van Lustbader. I was very pleaded to see David Baldacci bring back several caracters that were in "The Camel Club". Very good series for him to write. Brad Meltzer made sure I didn't put the book down until I finished reading it. I was a bit dissapointed with the continuation of the Jason Bourne series though. It just didn't grab my attention like the previous books did.
Heroes
Had to think about it for a while, but I have to say that my biggest hero is my grandfathers. No matter what I did I was never wrong, I was just a curious normal little boy. Unfortunitly they both died while I was a kid so I never got to really know them. I do know that they both live on through me and still watch over me.
About me: I grew up on the West side of Montana so it is nice to be back on this side of the state. My interests are so varied it is hard to just narrow it down to a few to talk about. My biggest interest would have to be the outdoors. I have finally started running again. I will be running the Missoula Half Marathon in July. I ran the Missoula Half Marathon last year and it was my first half. I figure I will make my first half and full in my hometown. I have been getting into biking pretty heavy the past year or so and can now start back into some mountain biking. My ideal job would be a professional tourist. If I could travel all over just looking at and researching information on places, I wouldn't be able to ask for much more. Hey, if your on my friends list you know quite a bit about me. If your not, take the time to get to know me.
You are The Emperor
Stability, power, protection, realization; a great person.
The Emperor is the great authority figure of the Tarot, so it represents fathers, father-figures and employers. There is a lot of aggression and violence too.
The Emperor naturally follows the Empress. Like an infant, he is filled with enthuiasm, energy, aggression. He is direct, guileless and all too often irresistible. Unfortunately, like a baby he can also be a tyrant. Impatient, demanding, controlling. In the best of circumstances, he signifies the leader that everyone wants to follow, sitting on a throne that indicates the solid foundation of an Empire he created, loves and rules with intelligence and enthusiasm. But that throne can also be a trap, a responsibility that has the Emperor feeling restless, bored and discontent.
You're quiet, introspective, and a great thinker. You need a summer vacation that gets you away from the crowds and the heat. So retreat to the mountains, where you can clear your head.
Who I'd like to meet: Don't really know who I want to meet, but I do know that it is NOT any of the Hollywood people. I would have to say I would like to meet my mom and dad for lunch. That is one thing that I will not be able to do anymore since I have moved. As simple as it sounds, it was nice to be able to meet my parents on the spur of the moment for lunch. Funny how we take things for granted and how much we miss them when situations change.
