Bio:

ERIKA TUTHILL Erika was a musical prodigy since the age of four. She fondly reminisces about performing on the bar of her family's restaurant business, "It was all for the quarters ? I was a Pacman fiend!" She continued to perform impromptu performances around her hometown of Greenport, Long Island, perfecting her talents along the way. Highschool plays and musical festivals found Erika consistently in the lead role; she also co-wrote melodies with local songwriters and was actively recruited to perform in community events. Dreams of becoming a recording artist led Erika to Northeastern University where she majored in Music Industry. While there, she sang lead in both jazz and rock bands and spent down time in the recording studios. She finished her degree in three years and immediately moved to New York City in pursuit of advancing her musical career. Erika's talents quickly caught the eye of the musical house of T-Groove Productions (the producers of Traedonya Chequelle -China Black-Bruk Up-and has done remixes for Toni Braxon-Salt Peppa-Billy Porter to name a few). The chemistry created by this alliance has produced with it, its own sound and has moved Erika to tap into a well of musical inspiration that had previously laid dormant, "They've brought out the songwriter and true artist in me." All of the recording and songwriting that Erika is devoted to comes second in her heart to live performances. She lights up the stage in any setting and prides herself on singing live in any given situation. Erika has wowwed crowds at NYC hotspots such as View, Nell"s, Bar 13, and Lot 61. She has also won the hearts of Radio Disney and recently started a Northeast Tour with the likes of Lil" Romeo, Allure, and Ruff Ends. A club tour is in effect for the summer. Erika's style has been influenced by the likes of artists such as Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and Mariah Carey. Her songwriting and vocal qualities are an eclectic blend of R&B and Pop music.
