Usually more visible along the coast of the Mediterranean or the Baltic, legendary band Tuxedomoon will be making a rare appearance stateside in New York City for one show only at Le Poisson Rouge, 158 Bleecker Street, on 17 September (Le Poisson Rouge is a multimedia art cabaret founded on the former site of the historic Village Gate).
Don't expect to see them repeat poses from their youth as Tuxedomoon seldom look back and, if so, more often than not, choose to refine and distort their past in terms concurrent with their muses of the moment. No room for '80s nostalgia here, their recent compositions feature a wide and surprising variety of styles, influences and themes gathered along their varied journey through space and time. Appearances of Tuxedomoon in the USA are unusual occurrences, there having been only 4 others in the last 21 years. Come be a part of this unique event.

Oh, complaints!
Well I'll be there. I'm taking a bus from Baltimore to see this show. PLUS it's on my birthday!!!
Majorly excited. Maybe you'll look back just once for a birthday girl???
I hate to complain, but if you're only doing one US show, why on a Wednesday?
If you'd chosen a weekend, I (and I'm sure many others not fortunate enough to live in the immediate NYC area) might have been able to make it . . .
Anyway, if you do decide to tour here at some point, we'd love to see you in Washington, DC.
Most Mysterious and Amazing Band Ever, We All Attending, Good luck Friends.
Wow!!!
Wish you and the New Yorkers all the best...!
I really wish you will come and play here in the very south of Sweden or in Copenhagen...
Miss you...

Why don't you come to Chicago sometime? It's still a trek for me, but it's much more doable that NYC.
I wish I would be living in NY ...
Well, break a leg boys ...
All the best ...
Very happy for you. Too bad I can't fly to NY...
I'll be waiting for another appearance Belgium! Who knows...
Wish you the best
