About me:
TV JUNKIES "spoofs yet embraces" the world of television past and present through sitcom storylines, TV show parodies, and comedy sketches, all packed with so many pop culture references, it's like watching a live-action version of "Family Guy" and "Robot Chicken" combined.
Larry and Darryl are roommates, best friends, and total TV junkies. Their dreams of living life like on TV come true when their new TV set becomes a dimensional gateway, blurring the lines between real life and television. Now Larry and Darryl are realistically slaying vampires like "Buffy," joining "Soprano"-like families, solving mysteries like "Scooby-Doo..." Larry even adopts Darryl like "Webster" in one episode! Any TV-like situation can occur, but they quickly learn dealing with identical twins, alien puppets, and robot children aren't as fun when real life politics factor into their TV situations.
Between Larry and Darryl's wacky adventures are commercial, movie, celebrity, news and pop culture parodies from the cast. With episodes planned featuring a new, diverse cast, no TV show is safe from TV JUNKIES.
