Inspired by David Bowie and Roxy Music as well as post-punk and disco, friends Michael (bass) and Richard (guitar) formed Tv Sound after a long and inspired holiday in London. Upon their return to the states, fresh with new ideas, the group placed an ad in the Village Voice which drew the attention of New Yorker/Singer Sebastian. Soon after, the group began playing gigs in Phila and New York to enthusiastic response.
Tv Sound combine new romantic synths, disco bass lines, flash guitar, asymmetrical haircuts, and a host of art-glam pretensions into some of the juiciest pop trash of this time.
