Yes I LOOOOOVE music, but there are some serious GLOBAL issues that are causing me gr8 concern...the main one being.....
WHEN will we, the human race, finally achieve our full potential?
We undoubtedly have the intelligence, technology and urgent need to do so... but sadly, for all our advancements we're still held back by "our" primitive mind-set.
You would have thought that in 2009, war would be confined to dusty old history books.. You may have thought considering the untold wealth in the West, and fast-accelerating growth in the East, famine would also be a thing of the past. You'd think that cultural/racial/religious differences would be causes for celebration, not hatred.
One might have thought the Earth's Natural energies would have been fully utilised, as Solar, Hydro-electric & Electro-magnetic power are constantly available, yet we're still burning oil, coal, electricity & killing the planet.
You'd think we'd have listened to the planet and let the rain-forests be.
You'd be forgiven for thinking all world leaders would have "come together" as a united front and thrashed out some kind of a global resource- sharing strategy.
You'd think the elderly would be properly catered for, and respected.You'd have hoped crime, would have no place on our world.
You'd think we'd all be pulling together as a peaceful, positive, creative, optimistic planet.
How I pray, for that day.
