Maintaining my old time radio network! I love old time radio programs. I also love comic books. I've read all 16 of the Left Behind novels, many of them twice. Those are the greatest novels to read, in my opinion. I can get through one of them in a day.
Music
I only listen to music on my MP3 player. It's not an IPOD, i'd never buy one of those monstrosities. What I listen to mostly is 80s rock, sometimes 60s. Also Christian Pop.
Movies
I like old movies. Especially when they are free! The archive has over 700 movies from the 30s and 40s to download for free. So that is what I mostly watch. www.archive.org, feature films section. My favorite is Santa Claus Conquers The Martians.
Television
MSNBC and CNN. I like to leave the TV News on while I'm reading, or working on a project.

I've met a few people on here recently, and I've been pleasently surprised at the hospitable conversation. Thanks to all who have been kind.
I've noticed that many on here are looking just to add friends to have friends. I'm not like that. I only want people on my friends list who are actual people looking to chat. My life gets to cluttered as it is. I don't want to have to manage friends on a friends list who I don't even know. It's why I try to keep my list down to a reasonable number of people.
Also, I've noticed that many people just expect a relationship as soon as the conversation starts. As if everyone is here just to find either sexual partners, or a boy-friend. I realize that most men are here to find a girl friend or screw buddy. I'm not here for either of that. I'm only here to talk. I've no motivation for a romance at this point in my life. I'm just here to make friends,talk, pass the time of day.
Who I'd like to meet: People who like to chat, are home a lot, and only want to meet someone online, not in person.
I am not looking for a relationship. Nor am I looking for a friendship. I'm not looking for anything sexual. I simply want to meet people online who like to chat. Especially the loner, seclusionist types like myself who are home alone on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Those are the most difficult times to be alone. At the very least, if there is someone around to chat with, those days are mostly bareable.
I'd like to meet people like myself, who are home alot, don't have many friends, and have lots of time to chit-chat. I have a tv by my cpu, so I'm often watching movies while Im online. I like to meet people who can also multi-task.
