Guitars-a-blazin', Drew and the boys spin Tall Texas Tales about Devils, Dolls, and Dallas (and sometimes all of the above). It's the music of the border-brothel and the downtown-dive. That's TWANG 'EM HIGH's American Roots Rockin' Sound!
Artists in our current set-list: Johnny Cash, The Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, Dick Dale, Ennio Morricone, Stevie Ray Vuaghan, Social Distortion, Dwight Yoakam, Neil Young, The Outlaws, Los Lobos, Jimi Hendrix, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Hank Williams, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Lucinda Williams, Merle Haggard, Tom Petty, The Vetures, The Lively Ones, The Champs, Warren Zevon, and some twangin' and bangin' originals. Our first set warms 'em up with some revved-up, hot-rodded country and a couple Spaghetti Western themes. Our second set is a Southern Rock tribute which opens with a rousing version of The Allman's "Jessica". Our third set is where the Texas Blues gets way down and way dirty.

Hey Drew - Thanks for the Barleymen add. Long time no see - must be about 10 years or more. I'm very pleased to hear you're still twangin' the ol' six-string. I have very fond memories of my brief stint with the Derangers, I was at the Wellfleet Beachcomber this summer telling my family about our gigs there back in the summer of '92.
"Rio Sangre" remains one of my favorite songs of all time - I hope you're still doing that one!
Hey We just got the new CD out and on my profile page and CD Baby. We are now booking shows. Please let me know if you have any suggestions of some good places to play in your area
