DJ KAYA is 27 year old ADI LEFF from North London.
He has been DJing across the genres of HOUSE, ELECTRO, HIP-HOP, RNB, BASHMENT, BREAKSNBEATS, DRUMNBASS, OLDSKOOL, MASH-UPS, BOOTLEGS, SOUL and FUNK for around 10 years, including residencies and guest spots at many venues across London such as ABIGAILS PARTY, ARCHANGEL, ATTICA, BAR ROOM BAR, BAR ZAAR, BOULEVARD, BROWNS, CAMOUFLAGE, CLICK, CLOCKWORK, COLLECTION, DINGWALLS, EVE, ISIS, JAM, KINGLY CLUB, KOSMOPOL, LEISURE LOUNGE, LIGHT BAR, MATCH BAR, METRA, NYT, OFFSIDE, PENTHOUSE, PO NA NA, THE REX, ROCCOCO, SIN, SMOLLENSKY'S, STUDIO 57, TRAP, VIBE BAR and several others.
He has been PRODUCING for about 8 years within the genres of FUNKY HOUSE, ELECTRO, HIP-HOP and DRUMNBASS, currently working for the label HI LIFE RECORDS as well as remixing a track featuring US rapper DMX.
He produced 5 tracks on the album TONIC GROOVES VOL 1 currently available from www.hiliferecords.com, or for download from most major internet music sites (I-TUNES, BEATPORT, 7DIGITAL, AUDIOJELLY, KARMA and many others). He currently has two vinyl releases on HI LIFE RECORDS (IN THE GROOVE VOL 1 + 2), one on EUPHORIC RECORDS and two on Room Control Records, as well as over 10 other releases available through download.
He has received significant support from some big names in the world of house music - Top DJ NORMAN JAY has played IN THE GROOVE VOL 1 three weeks out of five on his popular BBC RADIO show GIANT 45 (www.normanjay.com). Legendary US DJ TONY HUMPHRIES has played both IN THE GROOVE VOL 1 and 2 and TONIC GROOVES VOL 1 on his show (www.tonyrecords.net).
He has recently remixed the track 'ROCK THAT SHIT' by VIVIANNA ft. DMX and FUNKY SILOHETTE.
