Twerk is synonymous with machine inclination, his concepts becoming
simulations, and the music itself dealing with the paradigm of recontextualizing
existing sounds in a complex and dynamic environment utilizing custom designed
software and field recording devices. his passages seek to explore the outer fringes
of composition and form. his albums, live performances, and museum installations
include a dynamic mixture of microscopic electronic art, algorithmic-based compositional
techniques and each showcase twerk’s use of his custom designed software.
The Company:
In 1998, Twerk founded Audibleoddities, a mastering house located in the heart of San Francisco. It is here that he spends the majority of his time now, working for a slew of electronic acts, indie bands, hip-hop labels, and spoken word artists. Audibleoddites has quickly established itself as one of thee premier locations for the pre-mastering of many of today’s most cutting-edge musicians.
