What happens when you put two amazing musicians with separate music careers together into one project? Magic.
One Sunday evening Gebhardt Zurburg (of the band ECHOFISSION) was sitting at a local open mic when in waltzes singer/songwriter Jaymie Gerard (solo artist, JAYMIE GERARD). Choosing to stick around to hear the hot chick with the guitar instead of going to see the Terminator movie was the best decision he ever made.... according to Jaymie, at least ;-).
When her set finished, Geb walked up to say hi, and after a long conversation about farming (yes, farming... check out www.outsidecows.com), they decided that playing music together would be something worth trying out. Little did they know the whirlwind of creativity, fun, and pure joy that was about to hit them.
Within ONE WEEK Geb and Jaymie had mastered 5 songs; within two, they had RECORDED 3 SONGS in the studio and had finalized 4 more. Each day, new songs are brought to the table, expanded upon, and made into something that can only be heard to understand.
The combination of talent in the duo is unreal. Geb's ability to come up with catchy, melodic guitar parts equals Jaymie's songwriting abilities (she has written over 600 originals songs) - and on top of that, they are both phenomenal singers.
