Here's something for you to ponder, hear me out. Why complain about a lack of scene when you don't even partipate in what's here in front of you? Especially you bloody Londoners. If I can travel 2 hours down to London once or twice a month to go to Dead and Buried and related events, I'm pretty sure you can just nip down the road to it. Don't complain when you don't get out there yourself, support your local scene because it ain't gonna get any better if you sit at home in front of your computer every day!

Hmm, as you noticed I'm gone on the board now. Got a bit fed up by being there constantly without telling something ontopic/new. Haha, I hoped I was able to tone down the internet-use a bit as well but I'm still surfin' a lot. I revived an old account at a dutch goffick board and they're so mean there! Really moody, they need something to kick against, really 'dutch' they behave, UGHH. Why have I returned there? They also NEVER talk about gothic there, listen to electronical music and The Editors is in their eyes quality new wave. And then they scare off the *real* musiclovers and/or the old school goths. Now, that's lame!
Ahaha yes PVC! Ew! It's so shiny/glammy/kitschy! An underbust in PVC is quite ok, but needs to be combined with other types of materials and patterns. I can like gothic-glamour, but then in a modest way I guess. You really see the goth look changing after '86: via a new wave or a batcave look to the goth glam look. In the nineties it slowly bends to a more over the top style. The nineties just ruined it! >:( :P But, yeah, styles, they just change. I btw watched a movie today and it was set in '83 and in the crowd you saw quite some new wavers/goths and I was like: woooh they look so cool. I miss that stylish look in current days! Haha.

Really pumped for the Portland show coming up tomorrow, and we're putting out another EP next month (it's an ongoing thing to put out releases on St. Lucia day) so we're kinda in a crunch. I mean: PVC, latex, uber platform shoes, chains, long skirts for men... NOOOoooHOOOooo :( I've already said it but I just like men in weirrd patterned shirts, jackets, some pants and functional shoes or even pixie boots. And women? Well, leotards and little black dresses perhaps haha! All that shiny gothic crap.. no pleazz.... uggh.
Haha well that 'how to write an essay' seems handy for me. That's exactly the thing I'm not so good at. They should teach that way better at high school over here, I guess! What exactly are your lectures about? My new courses seem ok. I just registrated for the courses of period 3 and 4 and those are: Iconography, Architecture/Urban Design, Worldhistory and Languagehistory/languagechanges. I wanted to do more of the art history faculty, but too bad. Oh and I just saw that it is possible to go on exchange to a dutch art history department in Florence. Woah that seems a cool place! I actually wanted to go on exchange to Vancouver or something, but my university does not have a connection/contact with that university. Probably Florence is even better, though. It's a very fashionable town! x
