I love movies...all kinds, commercial, independent, obscure, and cheesy tv made ones. I absolutely live to shop, again, all kinds of shopping applies...clothes, antiques, furniture, groceries, it doesn't matter as long as I'm picking out what I want. I also enjoy cooking and baking a lot. I have a guilty pleasure which is singing as loud as I want along with the radio or a cd because I long to be able to do it in front of actual people someday.
Music
Wow, well I run the gamut when it comes to what music I like but my two favorite genres are country and soul. I love blues, r/b, classic rock, some rap, and jazz. My favorite artists are Loretta Lynn, Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Patsy Cline, Etta James, The Carpenters, Carly Simon, Carol King, Dolly Parton, The Mamas and the Papas, Joss Stone, Maroon 5, Aerosmith, John Mayer, CCR, Tom Petty, John Legend, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Trisha Yearwood, LeeAnn Womack, Alison Kraus and Union Station and I could probably keep going for awhile.
Movies
Coal Miner's Daughter, Ray (pretty much any rockumentary), just about any Johnny Depp movie, Rocky movies, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Carrie, The Notebook, Steel Magnolia's, Star Wars (original trio), The Godfather Trilogy, The Wedding Singer, My Best Friend's Wedding, and both Bridget Jones'.
Television
I am fully committed to admitting my addiction to LOST and Heroes. Those are really the only shows right now that I absolutely have to watch every week. Others I like to catch frequently are Scrubs, Big Love, Oprah, Rachel Ray, The Today Show (every morning loyally), American Idol sometimes, and pretty much the entire Food Network.
Books
I'll admit I'm not one to read a lot books all the time but these are some I have enjoyed through the years: Pride and Prejudice, Coal Miner's Daughter, Like Water for Chocolate, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, Carrie, Kindred, The Hottest State, The Catcher in the Rye, and the Love Language book.
