Twilight Zone Cafe's Interests
|
| General | Obviously, our main interest is the Twilight Zone. The Cafe includes a forum about the original series, and one about its various revivals (the movie, the '85 and '02 TV series, the radio series, etc.). Each episode of all three TV series has its own individual topic thread. There's also a forum devoted to the life and works of Rod Serling, and a special forum for Twilight Zone polls.
We think it adds up to as diverse and comprehensive a mix of TZ fact and opinion as you'll find anywhere. | | Music | Yes, we have a forum on that. Our members' musical tastes range from Gilbert and Sullivan to death metal, and just about everything else under the sun. Also, the TZ music experts among our members probably know as much about the original series's background music as anyone in the world. | | Movies | We have a forum on that, too. | | Television | And on that. Fans of other "odd and unusual" TV anthologies are especially well represented, but our tastes run the gamut in television as in everything else.
Our Rod Serling forum contains a thread about each "Night Gallery" episode segment. And the Television forum contains a link to The Outer Limits Cafe, the "sister board" that is now the official OL discussion place for our community. | | Books | Our "Books and Magazines" forum contains discussion of just what you'd expect from the title.
We also have:
A "Sports" forum;
Forums for board announcements and site comments;
A "Cafe Literary Society" forum for fan fiction; and
A "General Chat" forum for everything that doesn't fit anywhere else.

About me:
Welcome to the official Twilight Zone Cafe MySpace. (To go to the message board, click on "Twilight Zone Cafe.") With over 110,000 posts, the Cafe is probably the biggest and most active Twilight Zone message board on the Net. Our members discuss all facets of the Twilight Zone phenomenon, and just about everything else, too.
The Cafe's administrator is Matt a.k.a. "James B. W. Bevis," whose personal data you see here. (September 26, 2004 is the actual birthdate of the Cafe, currently making it a little too young for its own profile, at least "officially.") Thanks and props to our first administrator, Chris a.k.a. "Flight 33," who built our board and administrated it for almost three years.
Our community of members is descended from the community brought together by Matthew S. Cregg's 1996-2004 Twilight Zone web site, The Fifth Dimension.
