Back in the day I was very into cute and fuzzy music like The Gerbils, Apples in Stereo, Dressy Bessy, Mirah, Butter 08, The Doves, Quasi, etc etc so on and so forth, but now I don't make much time to find out new things. I'm always open to suggestions! Load up my iPod!Movies
I like John Hughes movies a whole lot, and Wes Anderson, and Charlie Kaufman, Big, So I Married an Axe Murderer, Reality Bites, Practical Magic (it's a good prompt for Midnight Margaritas), the Three Amigos, Dead Alive, Jesus Christ Vampire Killer, Doggie Poo (best poop claymation ever), Willow, Labyrinth, Krull, okay I'm bored of typing now, but I will add that my favorite movie of all time since girlhood is The Last Unicorn, because it's so sad, and she was the only unicorn to know love, AND REGRET, because she was a freakin magical being, and he was a mere human. I need a brownie now.Television
I have a deep love for canceled TV shows like Undeclared, Wasteland (come on, doesn't anyone remember this! I adored it!!!), and Life As We Know It (that's some primo, teen-angsty entertainment!). I newly cannot live without: The Hills, ANTM, Top Chef, LOST, and the abundant 90210 re-runs on the SOAP network.Books
I never have time to read anymore, which is sad, cuz...yeah, you'd know why if you knew me. Books I've liked in the past: White Oleander, The Minotaur takes a Cigarette Break, Syrup, The Girl in the Flammable Skirt, My Date with Satan, the zany works of Erika Lopez, Observatory Mansions, right now I'm attempting to read Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist before the movie comes out, but I've read like 2 page only...
