After five years training in mainstream theatre, Twinkle Starr decided to rebel and join the burlesque revolution. Described as 'out of the ordinary' and 'a delight', her skills in acting, singing and dancing have been put to good use to provide the jaded masses with a bit of tongue-in-cheek naughtiness! She creates a range of characters on stage, from a not-so-innocent Little Bo Peep, to a Stray Cat hunting for its tea, or a drunken Seaside Pinup, she has a character to suit many an occasion.
Twinkle Starr is also a versatile pinup model, described as a 'camera dancer', she loves to flirt with the camera, and creates classic pinup poses with charm and humour. Take a peek at 'My Photos' for her latest portfolios.
In addition to all this, Twinkle runs a successful burlesque night in Carlisle, The Peepshow Parlour Party, showcasing the best of UK burlesque, with parlour games, fancy dress comps and special events making the nights extra special!
