Kelv is proud to anounce the birth of his baby daughter Hannah weighing 7lbs 7oz she was born on Christmas eve 2006 at 10:21 am , thanks to everyone who have passed on well wishes. (My Best christmas present ever)
Twisted ape are a Glasgow(Scotland) based Music Promoters that deal with both touring bands and local bands from all styles of music although mainly associated with Metal Punk and Rock.
HISTORY
After many years of putting on shows such as The Misfits, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Agnostic Front, Subhumans, Snuff, Iron Monkey, Extreme Noise Terror, Raging Speed Horn, Orange Goblin, Dismember, Enslaved, Malevolent Creation and Marduk to name but a few while still holding down a "Real Job", Kelv decided in March 2000 to go the whole hog and set up in business. So, with Quzzy (Confusion Corporation/Co-Exist) to help/advise and generally get drunk with, they set about putting on bands they wanted to see coming to Scotland and then getting the best local bands to support them.
This we did for a year with bands like Nile, The Haunted,Dropkick Murphys and Lockup. Quzzy left in Feb 2001 when the lack of beer money took its toll and Kelv ploughed on, now being joined by Jase (Drummer, DJ and Club Promoter). Together we aim to widen the horizons and offer local bands of all styles the chance to play in various venues in Glasgow and to support a wide range of touring bands.
After just over 2 years and lots of great gigs such as Lost prophets, Exodus, Mayhem,The Berzerker,GBH,Exploited,Rx bandits,Mendeed. Jason has had to Part company with Twisted Ape due to a recurring illness, but hopes to be well enough to put bands on again once he is fully recovered.
I would like to thank jason for his efforts over the last few years and wish him well.

2006 so far has seen twisted ape do shows with the like of Helloween,Cannibal Corpse, The Berzerker,Nebula and the sword with a few things up my sleave for later in the year,
