WHAT WE WILL ACCEPT:

Horror, Dark Sci-fi, Occult based, Dark Fantasy, Bizarro, Absurdism Short Stories under 1500 words

Times New Roman or Garamond 12 point only. Single spaced. No fancy fonts or formats. Your work will be rejected.

Submissions attached as a .rtf attachment. Submit in .doc or any other file extension and your work will be rejected unread.

WHAT WE WILL *NOT* ACCEPT: PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY!

Submissions in the body of your e-mail. They will be deleted unread. If your work is accepted, you will receive an e-mail asking you to send a bio as a separate 100 word or less .rtf attachment. If your bio is submitted in the body of the e-mail, I assume nor accept ANY errors that occur in the magazine due to your inability to follow instructions.

Submissions by anyone under the age of 18

Submissions with name, address, phone number, word count or any other identifying info in either corner. Just type your name and the story name on the submission, nothing more.

Submissions over 1500 words

Submissions with words underlined when they are supposed to be italicized.

Double-spaced submissions

Erotica in ANY form (and that includes relieving ones' self of sexual tension, etc)

LEGAL STATEMENT:

Please note that while TWISTED DREAM'S readership starts at around age 13, you must be 18 in order to submit because you must sign a contract. Using someone's work without their signed permission is called "theft." Twisted Dreams does not engage in such practices.



I accept well written articles on any subject as long as it's dark, creepy, eerie, paranormal, etc. Articles have no set length, however, I prefer them no longer than 10 pages.



I will interview anyone in the darker realms of anything...music, books, film...just ask! If I'm not familiar with you or what you have done, ask anyway...maybe I'll do so and then send you an e-mail!

I also welcome any type of interviews with anyone in the Gothic/Dark community, artists, actors, authors (no mainstream authors, artists or bands) bands, as long as YOU ARE THE INTERVIEWER!!!



WHAT WE WILL ACCEPT:

All dark art including digital and cemetery photo artwork.

Gothic and Alternative models.

WHAT WE WILL *NOT* ACCEPT:

Nudity (even brief - spare us your creative eye...it's subjective trust me)
Centerfolds or centerfold type art. This isn't a nudey or smut magazine and centerfolds have no place here. Period.

SPECS: 9 x 7 inches. DO NOT send files zipped or compressed. B & W and attached as a jpg only. Send PDF, PNG or GIF and it will be rejected.



WHAT WE WILL ACCEPT:

Anything written on ANY dark subject no matter what it is. From fetishes to alternative lifestyles, dark religions to odd and creepy jobs, we want it but no matter what you write, I expect it to be well-written and professional.

An editorial's job is to be informative and educational, not a rant session or ravings by someone spewing rhetoric or ignorance.

WHAT WE WILL *NOT* ACCEPT:

Slander

Homophobia

Racism



Twisted Dreams Magazine offers some of the least expensive advertising of any magazine on the market, guaranteed! A full page (approximately 9 x 7) black and white ad will run you $2 and NO THAT IS NOT A TYPO!! Beat that price for a magazine that sees worldwide exposure!



One free pdf copy e-mailed or available by link to download (depends on the size of the issue and I have no way to know which it will be until I start compiling the issue) to contributors of short stories and art. Please note, however...if you have a DIAL UP CONNECTION, due to the size of each issue, you may not be able to download your free copy, so be mindful of that BEFORE you submit. I can not and WILL NOT be held responsible for your Internet connection or lack thereof.

Additional copies are always available (the magazine is archived) and will be the expense of the author to purchase. Sorry, but at this time no payment can be given to reviewers, editorialists and/or any other contributor not mentioned above.
