About Twisted Nails - New Album Available!!

Twisted Nails son una banda de Sant Celoni (BCN), con ganas de disfrutar de la música. Twisted Nails es rock guitarrero y contundente fruto de una gran mezcla de influencias que van desde los sonidos rock de los 70 y 90 hasta el punk y el hardcore más moderno. Se formaron a principios del año 2000 con componentes de grupos como Sheila o The Last Train. A finales del año 2001 entraron a grabar su primera maqueta, la cual consta de siete temas propios. Justo al finalizar de grabar esta maqueta el batería abandonó la formación y estuvieron un par de meses sin batería. Finalmente entró en la formación el hasta hace poco batería Narcis (componente también de Moksha). En diciembre del año 2003 entraron a grabar en los estudios Ultramarinos de la Costa Brava. Con unos cuantos temas del CD participaron en el concurso Lagarto Rock de Jaén, en el cual quedaron de los cuatro grupos seleccionados para participar en el festival-concurso. Durante el mes de Mayo del 2005 se vio editado su primer disco "Midriasi" a traves de Arindelle Records. Y en este mismo mes entro Quim com nuevo bateria.

Twisted Nails is guitar-based rock, the result of a mixture of many influences, from 70s and 90s rock to punk and the latest hardcore.Twisted Nails was formed in the beginning of 2000 with band members from groups such as 'Sheila and The Last Train'. They recorded their first demo in the end of 2001, with seven songs composed by the band. Right after finishing the recording of this demo their drummer left the band and they found themselves without a drummer again. Finally Narcis (member of Moksha) joined the band as drummer. In December 2003 they started recording with Santi García at Estudios Ultramarinos de la Costa Brava. They took part in the Lagarto Rock contest in Jaen with a few songs from the album. They were one of the four groups selected out of more than 400 to participate in the contest's show. At the end of 2004 they recorded three new songs that, along with the ones previously recorded, conform their first album which was published in May 2005 by Arindelle Records. Currently, with Quim as new drummer, they are performing all over Spain to reach a broader audience and introduce their debut album: "Midriasi".
