Stretching as far back as 1992, two high school students befriended each other in a common interest of music. After high school, their love of music kept them in contact leading to their inevitable fate of band mates, forming Twisted Pair.
Twisted Pair began in 1998 as a project between two friends with an insanely large hunger for crazy music of all shapes, sizes and colors(is music visible?). Inspired by dark industrial overtones and post modern tinges, Twisted Pair embarked on an ambitious effort to create a totally new sound based in a touch of melody, heavy laden beats and guitars, with industrial backing soundscapes.
This lead to the start of Twisted Pair Records and www.twistedpairrecords.com. With the release of their 2nd record 'Old and the New...It's Inside You', they started this website in order to host all and any info on their band Twisted Pair along with information on existing collaborations and projects related to Twisted Pair and Twisted Pair Records. Since its inception it has taken many forms, ranging from info on other bands, albumn reviews, and a radio page featuring all independent bands with info on upcoming shows and news related to the band.No longer a part of this site.
Twisted Pair Records has since then slowed down to an allmost grinding hault. Due to the ever expanding world of music and life in general, this site is now more or less for informational purposes only, and to document some of the music by Twisted Pair, which is freely downloadable on this site. It will forever be a way for fans to contact Twisted Pair and find info on any future endeavors, along with the personal pages for each of it's members of Twisted Pair. Feel free to download any of the songs from this site and share them with your friends.
This is very, very, very delayed. But better late than never, right? I added you guys well over a year ago, and never commented until now.
I wanted to tell you your music is awesome - when you played at the Late Night Series at MCCC back around April 2003, that was the first "concert" I had been to, and you guys were amazing. I've been to hundreds of open mics and events since then, and honestly, your music still stands on top.
Thanks. I'll look it up. My you tube profile: I got tons of amazing, and strange videos collected in My Favorites that are sure to amuse.
