As many will now by now the Twisted Pinnacle will be changing ownership in the near future. Exactly what it..s future will be and what direction it will take will I guess be revealed by the new owners in due course, and I hope they..ll let us know what..s what and wish them all the best, and I..d like to thank every person that came in to support a bar that dared to be different to the norm in music, that allowed everyone whoever they were to come in and enjoy themselves as they wished in town..s sofas and Pimms era, and one that for years believed in free entry and great prices all week, INCLUDING Saturdays..
From myself, Id like to thank absolutely everyone who came in for what we tried for so long in the music, all those who threw their hands in the air in the trance classics sets, boshed it out to some filthy tech trance on a Thursday or enjoyed the summer sound of House on a Friday, the people that supported me and the music kept me going in a town that is so very hard to DJ in at times, with its herding, ClubLand and cheese mentality, thanks to each and all of you who came out into town for the music and atmosphere still despite the crazy drinks offers in town that..s stifled town entertainment in favour of giving drinks away (which has also seen so many people going elsewhere for their nights out every week).
For my future, some exciting things in the pipeline and I..ll see what offers may perhaps be made locally now the current era in the bar is over, but don..t leave the group because in conjunction with other DJs there is going to be some very exciting parties and reunions coming up locally for all those who who have enjoyed the Pinnacle and other events over the years, and all the info for you REAL Party People will be posted on our facebook group, page and myspace.

Yes im afraid it was a bit mad! But hey your only 21 once! All my friends from leicester absolutely LOVED your music. I can see wat a hard job u hav when theres so much great music out there but the strange ppl of chesterfield arent interested. So thanks anyway and keep up the good fight! X

Thank the lord for that, a place that shares my thinking :) I've not been in the pinacle for years, last time i went it it was green and looked like an indie venue :)

Thanks a lot mate. Like Tom said, TP's our fave venue in town and you're definitely the best DJ around. TP might not have the flashiest decor but it's the music and atmosphere that draws us back time and again.
We'll certainly be back, but I must admit Sheffield will have a lot more to offer than olde Chesterfield. Perhaps even some DJs to rival yourself.
Anyway, all the best at Twisted Pin, keep the vibe going.
