Twisted by name and twisted by nature. This life's journey has always been about music. I began playing classical violin in early childhood and by the time I gave in away 12 years later I was fluently sight reading Bach and performing as first violin in award winning youth orchestras. Later in high school I heard Joe Satriani and Steve Vai and promptly converted to rock guitar performing in many local bands and musical theater productions including "Jesus Christ Superstar".
In 1997 I went to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. Berklee changed everything for me; aside from filling in some substantial gaps in my musical knowledge, it opened me up stylistically and now I can genuinely say that if the music i'm hearing is of high quality and intent; it will move me regardless of the style. Berklee really opened me up to Contemporary Jazz and it is still one of my main loves. Graduated from Berklee in 2001 and returned to Australia just a few months after the whole September 11th incident.
Now I am living in ??, Tokyo and loving the scene here. Look out for more changes on this page. I will be creating some new pages for my various projects so stay tuned!
Hello Andre, I've checked your page today (Atsushi suggested it to me) and I really like your music and playing. Excellent! Definitely keep in touch. All the best,
Hey Andre! What's up? Have you been recording any tunes? I continue to on my crappy laptop, but it gets the point across. Maybe one day I'll set foot in a professional studio. Hope you're well! Stop by my page and check out my new song "See It My Way." I have a new CD too!
Plunket and Mclean's fresh mint (Not Maclean from the popular movie, no, not him) but fresh mint-the toothpaste flavour, came a knocking, I opened my ass, but it turned out to be the corporate fist-it came in without even wiping it's feet. I didn't hear from extreme Paul. Oh well, I'll catch him another day.
