Twist records was established in 1991 as a partnership between, Frank Osiewacz from Germany and Mark Le Gallez from the small Channel Island of Guernsey. Franks background is music journalism and a love of 60s culture and pop. Marks background is being in numerous bands and songwriting together they established Twist to reflect their love of music particularly the classic format of three minute pop songs. Twist Records has had numerous successes, with records by Billy Childish, Dan Treacy of The TVP's, The Solarflares, The Fuzztones and The Mystreated to name a few. Bands that are at the forefront of the Twist Records sound of today are west coast powerpop tunesmiths The Eddies and garage/soul shysters Thee Jenerators.
