About Things We Lost In The Fire

Formed in 2007 after meeting at a failed brit school audition; these five fresh-faced debutantes retreated to the chelmsford countryside to record their first bunch of tunes in a big shed in a field in the winter.

Tales of electric shock treatment, hungarian love songs and shiny white shopping malls set to a backing of wailing rickenbacker, dirty bass, hyperactive synth and cannonfire drums, emerge kickin’ and screamin’ and looking for a home.

GIRICOCOLA illustrator	Dec 15 2008 3:38 PM Right as you can see ive changed your profile...im not sure if im 100% on it. ie-the info boxes i made the background white and slightly opaque because the font was really hard to read;just overlapping the background..but im not sure if it looks ok.i was going to put the comments/friends in a scroll box but as its a bandpage i was a little unsure of how to do this...but maybe think about hiding the comments and putting just a comment box up??itll make the profile a lot smaller and neater...and maybe put up a mailing list??i was saying to si im getting a holga for christmas which is an old camera that takes pretty unique photographs so i could take your photos if you like...sooner the better really.winter shots would suit the band more i think..and si thinks woodland/pillbox ideas...well get back to me and ill change the profile if your really not happy with it ecetera. x

High Off The Dancehalls	Aug 4 2008 6:55 PM We are pleased to annouce that High Off The Dancehalls is moving to Barhouse - a brand new music venue dedicated to cutting edge ‘live music’ and DJs. Located where Bar Toucan/Elan Lounge was, we eagerly await its opening and our first night there: Saturday 9th August Live music from Brighton based band Flashguns, who are currently causing quite a storm in their home town, and HOTD hosts Cat House, who will be debuting some shiney new songs. Plus local heroes Things We Lost in the Fire and DJ sets from Pink Moose & guests TBC. 7pm-2am @ Barhouse, 101 Victoria Road, Chelmsford, Essex Don't be square!
