Mark wants to be organized, serious, and practical. He wonders and wanders. As an East Coast child - born, raised, and educated - there is still so much reading and living to do. He hopes to drive across the country and explore America. Maybe jump out of planes or waterski or just chill in a hammock with a beer in one hand and binoculars in the other. ;) He writes because that is the only place where he can escape in dreaming and still make sense of the world. Mark currently resides in New Jersey hoping to find that one stretch of highway with all the right answers. Mark decided to do something experimental and put a poem with some guitar! Thanks to the super-sexy Jing Ra for gracing us with her music. This is called A REASON TO WRITE. It debuted in October 2007 at the Laugh Lounge in NYC! Thanks to Ron Gejon for the video... and to the girl who inspired this piece.

Harry is that guy you really like or you don't know if you want to be friends with. Sometimes he's too happy it's annoying and sometimes he just doesn't return your calls. He writes poetry, learns hula, hits people with arnis sticks, plays the ukulele and teaches keiki how to be big people. He currently resides in Brooklyn with a lot of rabbits (not real ones). if you want to know why. ask.Harry kicked this in Hawaii back in 2006. Freaking awesome!

In 2002, Mark and Harry co-wrote and performed two poems, Dedication: to pay tribute to the talented and inspiring writers at the Asian American Writers Workshop (Re)Collections events, and Two Warriors. After the show, people started calling them the Two Warriors. The name stuck!
OUR BIO:
Two Warriors is a New-York based poetry duo that found life by bringing together stories of love, peace, family, tribute and tradition in their writing. In an effort to break down barriers and provide a sense of home for everyone through their performances, Two Warriors aims to involve the crowd, interact with the audience, interpret stories, infuse emotion, and inspire hearts and minds.
Who I'd like to meet: Poets, writers, musicians and all artists of passion and truth who go beyond themselves for the good of others.
I miss you guys!!!!...so i'm a college student now, down at Rutgers (hard to believe)........um, I'm thinking they need a little Warrior love down here!
