Cointel Bros started out as a bass and drum duo called TWO DOLLARS OUT THE DOOR, named after the 40 ouncer of the same moniker. But alas, the bottle forecasted this economic toilet swirl and upped its price. Thus, 2DOTD took on a third member and changed their name to COINTEL BROS.
The addition of organ was magnificent, but burned a little TOO bright, some might say. That era has passed with a few bootlegged recordings to show for it.
But the question now is, how will SF's premier rhythm duet resurface? 2DOTD?
Rumor has it they are looking for a guitar bro.
