BAND BIO:

TwoMinuteSilence...represents diversified newschool hardcore with a metal attitude. The band was founded in 2003. This project of five friends soon developed in to a serious band that created their own style, influenced by hardcore, metal, and emo. Over the years this style was even more influenced by several kinds of music and gained autonomy. However, they never denied the influences of metal and hardcore in any of their songs. Arguments are the brute mosh parts and pushing shoutings. The oldschool varieties are improved by great guitar work, perfect harmonised rhythm groups, varied song structures, and clean song parts with ear candy appeal. Already in 2003, TwoMinuteSilence published their first EP named "kissed by emotion". This very raw, self-produced piece of work already showed in which direction this young band would head. On their second EP "concealed longing", which was again produced by themselves mixed hardcore and metal with even stronger hardcore emphasis. In 2005 the silent five became even more silent, caused by school and job efforts. But silence doesn..t mean shutdown: “No bury of the dead” - new songs were written and they forged their talents. During one week in March 2006 the band went well prepared in the "rape of harmonies" recording studios to get done with their first 11 track full length disc, called "Broken.Heart.Syndrome" and released it via GlassTone Records in 2007. TwoMinuteSilence doesn’t really reinvent the wheel, but definitely they’re an enrichment to the scene. These guys have a good grasp on their instruments and implement live exactly that, what you hear on their sound storage medium. Thus, this is one of the reasons why they branded this countrys stages..- even without a booking agency or a label, they supported headliner like Caliban, Maroon, Fear My Thoughts, JR Ewing, Death Before Disco, Callejon, Narziss or Days in Grief. In addition to success, in some band contests they could even produce some airplays on radio stations along Berlin, Brandenburg and Saxony. TwoMinuteSilence crosses the border between underground and mainstream. They convince full-blown on the musical part. This band has even more potential, that just waits to be freed.
