two pillars is a recording studio in Minneapolis owned and operated by Matt Patrick and Bruce Balgaard. These two combined efforts in March of 2007 and began construction of the facility. By July the studio was nearly finished (when is fixing up a place really ever done?). Between July and October the two of them had already produced a full record for Julia Peterson, co-produced and mixed an album for Roger Flyer, worked on a radio retooling of Jason Gray's cover of the pegtop song "Everything I Own," began working on the new Put Down the Muffin CD and engineered several smaller sessions as well. In October, Matt flew to Bratislava, Slovakia to engineer, write songs for and co-produce an album for the band Save the Cookie. Client List: Jason Gray, Joel Hanson, Caitlyn Smith, Save the Cookie, Julia Peterson, Put Down the Muffin, Refuge, Sara Groves, Jonathan Rundman, Sarah Notley, Roger Flyer, Pegtop, Nic Johnson, Trace, Precious Red, Brian Bates, Open Door, Matt Patrick, Ben Tucker, Steffon Ware.
