Singer-songwriters Bryan Williston and Abby Zotz are Two Roads Home, a guitar and voice-based roots duo that has been performing together for twenty plus years. Their music can be characterized as warm, sophisticated folk pop with Celtic roots, but not exclusively committed to the traditional.
The pair played together as kids in their hometown of Whitby, Ontario, but life took them in different directions after university – Bryan focused on songwriting and performing in his duo Battered and Fried as well as running song circles for Durham-based folk societies. Meanwhile, Abby founded acclaimed a cappella trio, The MadriGALS, played in groups like Strings Attached and Kitchen Light, and built her career as an actor/singer (Street Legal, Queer as Folk, Conspiracy of Silence, Fanfare Theatre and Upper Canada Playhouse).
Since regrouping in 2001, the pair has shared the stage with the likes of Michael Pickett, Katherine Wheatley, David Newland, Jory Nash and The Als, and has opened for such wonderful musicians as The Whitely Brothers, Connie Kaldor, James Keelaghan and Nancy White.
TRH released their debut CD, "Dovetailing", in 2003, an homage to their performing heritage. "Sweet Shadows" (working title), to be released in the Fall of 2007, hails an exciting new direction for this pub rocker and renaissance siren. Produced by James Gordon (Tamarack) and featuring contributions from David Woodhead (Betty and the Bobs), Geoff Somers (David Francey) and Duncan Cameron (Fig for a Kiss), the CD marks their debut as collaborating singer-songwriters. Fusing elements of traditional folk with bluegrass, country, and popular music, the sound of Two Roads Home reflects the comfort and history they share.

well thank'e folks. by the way both of ya'll have wonderful voices.Wow, Maddy Prior doing voice workshops, that would be an honor just to be in the same room and hear those gorgeous pipes. If you know of any way to find out more about that, I'd be much obliged. Glad to be your myspace friend!
hey ya'll, thanks for finding us. I am a rabid Steeleye Span Fan, I would sell my soul for Maddy Priors voice but that could kinda complicate things so I'll just stick with my own.
Great CD release party! The songs sounded great and your band mates were both so fab. - wow! Thanks so much for the invite and continued success with the CD. Mario & Kelly
