Two Roads To Mexico continue to incorporate the use of raspy vocals, odd time changes, carrying melodies and huge breakdowns to transition each of their songs from start to finish.
With years of shows and the new release of their second EP, Two Roads To Mexico has made a name for themselves as one of the up and coming bands in Michigan. Steve Rhoades’ sharp vocals tear from the back of his drum set only to meet up with lead guitarist Scott Rhoades’ in the front creating a dynamic of back and forth melodies. An added delight of heavy hitting bass lines from Dustin McDonald and guitar playing of Mike Hampton wrap it all up into one giant sound.
Where their past project of Dropjaw left off, Two Roads To Mexico picked right up with more emphasis on the rock/punk aspect of their music and not the hardcore approach, former members Steve and Scott Rhoades have shared many great venues with influential bands such as The Suicide Machines, Heads Will Roll, and Thunderbirds Are Now. Two Roads To Mexico is continuing on with that same dedication to writing creative and unique new songs, putting on energetic live performances, and loving the music they make and the friends they meet along the way. Already Two Roads To Mexico has a number of amazing shows behind them with friends like Bloodlined Calligraphy, The Dollyrots, Downtown Brown, Your Best Friend, Far From Finished, Wildcatting, Belikos, and Mahoney, SikSik Nation, and Jehovas Witness Protection Program. Their new self-titled EP recorded with Jim Roll is a good look into the sound of things to come from Two Roads To Mexico and we hope you enjoy it.
We're people in the industry/scene who understand what musicians and fans want. We're creating a place where music in the most important thing. Remember when Myspace was a cool place for band to be discovered? Now in 2009 it's basically nothing but bands adding bands! Not to mention tons of fans have moved on to facebook because of all the band spam! Yeah that's right, sorry to tell you kids, but the industry knows your numbers are the result of "friend blasters" and spending day and night doing random add's. No one is impressed! So, what will be the site that Facebook defectors and music fans search when they want to hear some music?
Band Array Dot Com
Sign up now, get your band name before someone else steals it! Fans sign up and get free downloads from the bands!
So why join up to a new site? It has all the perks of Myspace, BUT, you can also create a store right on your page to sell ALL your merch including digital media! And the best part is, YOU get paid direct via PayPal. No middle man to cut into your profits! One stop for you and your fans! And Hey, you can always use more exposure right?!?

I spent about 4 hours of my Friday night wandering around Detroit suburbs I don't know looking for bulletin boards and storefronts for places to put up this shitty flyer I made with scissors, tape, and the copy machine at work. Hopefully it pays off. I saw the venue for the first time, too. Looks like a cool place to play.
Work is fixing to kill me this week, but I'm gonna try like hell to make up a flyer for the show and go hit up Rochester, Royal Oak, and Birmingham this weekend. I'm hoping you guys have some friends up that way (because I don't) that you can threaten with bodily harm if they don't come out. I don't want to be the only audience member.
