Two Satellites evolved from the musical collaborations of Chris Griffith and Aaron Columbus as an acoustic side project from their London based band Via Satellite. The project was conceived following a drunken jam over a large bottle of port and a shared taste in acoustic flavoured musings by artists like John Butler and Ben Harper. In between Via Satellite playing gigs and releasing a record, time was found for the project to grow. Songs were written, a random gig or two was played and then Chris announced he was moving to Canada for a lovely lady. Via Satellite came to end, Aaron formed Rogue Satellites in August of 2007 with Pete Duddles and Chris made the Canadian move. The Breakaway EP was recorded over a crazy and inspired three days in Aaron's living room in London prior to Chris' departure. It is a document of good times, good mates and good music.
Hee hee I was just going to comment saying that my mates were in a band called via sattelite and then rogue sattelite so it was a funny coincidence. But then you are my mates!
